This guide outlines a planned workflow from assessment design to reviewing results and identifying possible learning needs. It is not a live product tutorial.
Choose the subject and grade you're assessing. Everything after this step is filtered to the CAPS or IEB content for that class.
Filter by topic and difficulty to assemble a set quickly, or add your own questions alongside the shared bank. Most teachers do a mix of both.
Quiz, assignment, or test — and decide how it's marked. Objective questions are marked automatically; anything that needs a human eye is flagged for your review queue.
Check the assessment the way a learner will experience it — on a phone as well as a computer — before you assign it.
Set a due date and send it out. Learners can complete it from any device with a browser.
Auto-marked responses appear immediately. Anything flagged for review sits in one queue, so you're marking what actually needs your judgment, not retyping scores.
See where the class struggled by subtopic, not just by final score. For any learner who needs it, the Intervention Centre drafts a targeted practice plan for you to review and approve.
This is the first in a series of teacher guides we're publishing as we onboard more schools — covering things like reviewing an intervention plan in depth, managing a shared department question bank, and reading a grade-level analytics report. If there's a specific one you need now, ask us through the Help Centre.
